Pepsi rolls-out new TV campaigns today

Soft drinks major Pepsi Foods is pitching its three star endorsers Shahrukh Khan, Fardeen Khan and Kareena as ‘cheer leaders’ for the Indian cricket team starting today.

To start with, there is a special ad featuring Shahrukh Khan and Fardeen Khan reflecting every Indian's dream of bringing back the World Cup to India with the catch-phrase 'ek baar aur'.

The first 30-sec TVC titled ‘Cup Fever’ will feature Shahrukh Khan and Fardeen, the second one will show Shahrukh teaming up with Kareena. Incidentally, the TVCs will have none of the Indian cricketers and Pepsi endorsers.

As an extension of its currently running highly visible 'Men in Blue' campaign, the new commercial features Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Mohammad Kaif and VVS Laxman, involving the audience also with lots of prizes on offer.

Pepsi, is one of the prime official sponsors of the Champions Trophy or the mini World Cup, as well as the forthcoming World Cup.

The TVCs will be aired only on Sony, on Thursday, but will be subsequently aired on all other major TV channels.
