Outlook and Café Coffee Day join hands for 'Coffee Quest' contest

Outlook and Café Coffee Day have come together for a contest titled ‘Coffee Quest’, which got underway from March 23. The nature of the association is pure marketing and brand promotion, wherein Outlook is the content partner (running the contest), while Café Coffee Day is the venue partner.

This contest is being held across 300 prime Café Coffee Day outlets in five metro cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennai.

Commenting on the initiative, Suresh Selvaraj, President, Outlook, said, “Through this association with Café Coffee Day, Outlook would ignite the young minds with probing questions on current affairs and would also reward them with exciting gifts every week. This activity would also inculcate the reading habit amongst the young generation. There cannot be a better association than your favourite cuppa, an interesting magazine in hand and a leisurely pace to indulge with them. The response mechanism for the coffee quest contest is instant through an SMS from Café Coffee Day.”

This contest is exclusively for Café Coffee Day customers and will run for the next three months. There will be a different question and a different gift every week. Participants can send in their response through SMS. Twenty-five lucky winners across the five metro cities would win gifts such as branded watches, shoes, cosmetics, bags, etc., every week. Plus, the names of the winners would also be published in Outlook.

Bidisha Nagaraj, President - Marketing, Café Coffee Day, said, “Café Coffee Day is a social hub that provides for moments of inspiration that are brought to our consumers by way of our interesting alliances and events from time to time. We believe that our association with an esteemed magazine like Outlook will give our consumers yet another reason to spend quality time over coffee with friends and loved ones. We truly believe that this alliance will be huge value add to our ‘young’ and ‘young at heart’ consumers.”

This activity is being promoted through print, on radio and throughout 300 Café Coffee Day outlets through posters and contest coupons. Every week there will be over 4,500 copies of Outlook magazine placed across 300 Café Coffee Day along with contest coupons.
