Outbrain promotes Sigrid Kirk to new regional role

Newly promoted Managing Director of Outbrain Asia Pacific, Ayal Steiner, is making immediate moves to strengthen the business’ regional leadership team. Now Sigrid Kirk has been appointed to a new role as Vice President of Outbrain’s Engage product across Asia Pacific.

Outbrain is the world’s leading content discovery platform. Steiner was appointed to his new role at the end of March, while Outbrain’s former Regional Director for Southeast Asia, India & New Markets, Ant Hearne, was promoted to a new role as Vice President of Global Sales Marketing.

“Sigrid has extensive market knowledge and is clear on the future challenges that publishers and brands at local and international levels are facing. She has a vital function in growing our business relationships across all touch points in the region and we are delighted to have her in the senior regional team,” said Steiner.

Commenting on his new role, Kirk said, "I'm really excited about the new role and the opportunity to work with publishers across the region to help them drive deeper audience engagement, deliver great user experiences and to better monetise their digital assets - leveraging the unique capabilities of the Outbrain platform. It's a time of great change, but also great opportunity for publishers and I look forward to working with them to realise those opportunities."

“Our business is accelerating across the world and particularly in Asia Pacific where we are frequently seeing staff growth of 50% year-on-year and triple digit growth in our operations. We are committed to building a strong and energetic team that will deliver the highest calibre of talent to where it is needed to manage and drive expansion of our business relationships,” added Steiner.
