Nokia ties up with Om Shanti Om for VAS services

Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Om Shanti Om’ (OSO) has kept to its promise of being an entertainer. With ‘OSO’ Nokia has entered film entertainment in the mobile VAS space. Nokia has come up with special ‘OSO Crazy’ mobisodes, ring tones and wallpapers.

Bob McDougall, Director, Sales, Nokia India, said, “Through this tie-up, we bring alive our vision of combining Internet and mobility to provide consumers an enhanced media rich mobile experience. Bollywood is the most popular downloadable mobile content besides sports and fashion in India. We are confident that OSO Crazy and other exclusive OSO content will provide our consumers an enhanced media rich mobile experience.”

Nokia has created a special ‘OSO Crazy mobisode’, which has the animated proxy of Shah Rukh Khan’s character in the movie, ‘Om’. The mobisode can be downloaded exclusively on all Nokia GPRS-enabled handsets by dialing 55555.

Additionally, Nokia is holding a meet and greet contest for the star of OSO. Customers who purchase Nokia 5310, 3110 Classic, 3500 Classic, 5200, 5300, 5700, 6233, 6233 M, or 6300 handsets, would get to answer a question on Nokia and OSO. A lucky draw will facilitate 40 couples across the country to meet SRK in Mumbai in December.
