Media Mantra ropes in Amlan Home Chowdhury as Strategy Head

Media Mantra has announced the appointment of Amlan Home Chowdhury as the new Strategy Head with immediate effect. In this new role, Chowdhury will be responsible for contributing to Media Mantra’s overall Business Development, Strategic and Marketing affiliations.

Chowdhury is an industry veteran with over 35 years of rich experience. He has worked with diverse media houses and public relations companies including Hindustan Times, Free Press Journal and the US-based MNC Britt Worldwide. His appointment as the Strategic Head will powerfully enhance the entire business and marketing trajectory of the organization.

Chowdhury has successfully handled PR mandate for various corporate giants such as Molecule Materials Inc. of Auburn (USA) and Pentagon Maritime (Singapore). During this varied stint with corporates, he had the opportunity to efficiently handle official programmes of Indira Gandhi, Morajee Desai, Charan Singh, Chandra Sekhar, Rajiv Gandhi and Atal Behari Vajpayee. Besides this, he also covered the India visit of Prince Charles (England).

A Graduate from Warner Lamberz College of Berlin (Germany), Chowdhury began his career with Press Trust of India in 1980. He extensively travelled in Europe and Asia on various journalistic assignments. He has diligently filed news reports from Russia, Germany and Poland and also covered the historic Solidarity Movement of Lech Walesa of Poland in 1980-81.
