Manish Aggarwal joins ZDCL as Chief Marketing Officer

Zee Digital Convergence Limited (ZDCL) India has appointed Manish Aggarwal as its Chief Marketing Officer. In this new role, Aggarwal will be leading the social media and digital marketing strategy across the Essel Group including media and non-media business.

Digital marketing professionals from across ZDCL’s digital businesses will have an additional reporting line to him apart from the business heads. Aggarwal will also be responsible for the digital marketing strategy of Z5’s South Asian business across international markets. 

Aggarwal brings 14 years of post MBA marketing experience across e-commerce, advertising and consumer packaged goods industry. His last assignment was as Vice President, Marketing Communication at LeEco, India since April 2016. Previously, he has worked as Vice President, Marketing at Myntra for one-and-a-half years. He has also worked as General Manager - Marketing, Coca Cola, India for three years and as Partner, Client Leader at Mindshare, India for about seven years. He started his professional career at Procter and Gamble, Singapore where he worked for one-and-a-half years.

Aggarwal is a post graduate from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila and is a commerce graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
