Lifebuoy, from the HUL stable, has further leveraged its association with the movie ‘Krrish’ in a recent initiative where Hrithik Roshan will meet and greet the contest winners. The movie had tied with Lifebuoy for joint promotion of ‘Lifebuoy Main Bhi Krrish’ as the brand believed that it had a ‘right fit’ with the movie’s story and character.
Commenting on the association, Punit Misra, Marketing Manager, HUL, said, “‘Krrish’ promotion received a great response across the country, out of which ten lucky winners got a chance to meet Hrithik.” Speaking about the brand fit, he said, “We chose Lifebuoy over other brands since the brand is all about protection and Krrish’s character is all about protecting the world from enemies.”
When queried on plans for similar associations in future, Misra observed, “This has been a great deliverer for us and we are open to the idea but we will do it only when there is a brand fit.”
Hrithik Roshan said that he was delighted with this association with the brand and expressed his happiness of meeting the winners.
