Kinetic launches Blaze, first of Italiano series of scooters, in India

Kinetic Motor on Thursday launched Blaze, the first of the seven models in the Italiano series that Kinetic Motor acquired from Italian two-wheeler major Italjet Moto. The 165 cc Blaze comes with a price tag of Rs 50,000.

Speaking at the launch, Kinetic Motor Company Managing Director, Sulajja Firodia Motwani, said, “It is a great feeling for me to get India’s most exciting two-wheeler. The Blaze is totally in sync with globally popular two-wheelers. In countries such as North America, Europe, Japan, etc, powerful and stylish automatics are what commuters ride, and now with introduction of Blaze, the Indian consumer will also have a choice to travel with style, comfort, safety, speed and convenience.”

She further said that a campaign for the Blaze would be breaking in two months’ time, which would include press, TVCs, hoardings, outdoors, SMS, mailers as well as the Internet.

Motwani added, “We would be launching four scooters and two 100 cc motorcycles by the end of this year. We had earlier done a test launch of Blaze in Bangalore and Pune. The scooter will be available all over the country from June 9, 2006. Our target audience is youths, IT professionals, and college goers.
