John Players and Wills Lifestyle get awards

ITC's fashion brands, John Players and Wills Lifestyle, have got two major awards in a span of just one week. While ITC's John Players bagged the coveted 'Rising Star Brand of the Year Award' at the 5th Annual Images Fashion Award 2005, Wills Lifestyle grabbed the 'Brand Excellence' award for the "Most Admired Exclusive Retail Chain of the year" at the Fourth Marketing Excellence Awards held under the aegis of The Indira Group of Institutes, Pune.

At the Industry Forum that celebrates remarkable achievement in the area of Fashion and Lifestyle, John Players emerged as the brand that has in a short span of time grabbed the attention of consumers and the trade and carved a distinctive place for itself. On the other hand, Wills Lifestyle is known as a brand which offers consumers a complete fashion wardrobe across formal wear, relaxed wear, evening wear and designer accessories.

"We see these awards as recognition of our commitment to build strong brands that truly understand consumer needs. The success of John Players and the new milestones achieved by Wills Lifestyle highlight that our brands are at the forefront of the lifestyle revolution. These awards encourage us to set even higher benchmarks for ourselves and to raise our level of excellence," says Chitranjan Dar, Chief Executive, Lifestyle Retailing Business Division, ITC Limited.
