Jindal Stainless Steel Ltd has been rechristened JSL Ltd. The new name represents the Group’s foray into various business verticals such as energy, mines and minerals, public infrastructure, power generation and lifestyle. The Group has also unveiled a new logo, designed by MindCube, representing the new era of the company’s business canvas.

Speaking about the new corporate identity in the Capital on September 17, Ratan Jindal, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, JSL Ltd, said, “As industry leaders, we recognise the need to say ahead in the ever-changing business environment and market dynamics. For over three decades, Jindal Stainless Ltd has led the way with continuous innovation and fully integrated manufacturing capabilities to be the best in the business.”

He further said, “Taking our domestic leadership forward, it is our natural progression to capture diversified business areas of energy, mines and minerals, public infrastructure, power generation and lifestyle. The new logo entails the acronym of Jindal Stainless - ‘JSL’ - in capital letters. The logo also features a rising sun on the horizon, which represents the new era of the company’s business canvas. The orange colour signifies refreshing vigour, robust energy and assuring warmth of the sun, while the metallic silver gray colour signifies inherent expertise and proven thoughts, processes and vision.
