IMPACT to unveil Top 50 Influential Women list soon

IMPACT’s upcoming initiative is a step to acknowledge the achievements of women who give a whole new meaning to the words, power and influence. Their contribution has made a significant impact on the industry and their peer group and completely changed the way the industry is perceived today. These women are a source of inspiration to countless others who aspire to emulate their qualities.

The event is symbolic of the way our society has evolved. It signifies that women’s role in the media is indeed at the cusp of a whole new beginning. Acknowledging this fact with aplomb are industry stalwarts in an enviable jury chaired by Sam Balsara, Chairman of Madison World. They include Colvyn Harris, CEO, JWT India; Arvind Sharma, Chairman and CEO, Leo Burnett India; Shashi Sinha, CEO Lodestar UM and media veteran Pradeep Guha.

This ranking of women is a one-of-its-kind initiative that brings to light all the hard work of women done behind the scenes as well as at the forefront. It is an intriguing mix of women achievers across the Advertising, Media, and Marketing domain.

An interesting debate around whether women make better leaders than men has been doing the rounds. Surprisingly a lot of men too agree that women make better leaders given their qualities of multitasking, leading teams, eye for detail, and ability to remain calm in the face of crisis. This initiative will recognise women leaders who exemplify these qualities and have set great examples for women and men to follow.

This event is taking place on Monday, March 19, 7 PM onward at Tote, Mahalaxmi Racecourse.
