Imagica pairs up with UNICEF Super Dads campaign this Father’s Day


Imagica, India’s favourite family holiday destination, launched a first-of-its-kind partnership to support UNICEF India’s Super Dads, #EarlyMomentsMatter campaign on Friday. Super Dads is a new UNICEF initiative to celebrate fatherhood, and highlights the importance of love, play, protection and good nutrition for the healthy development of young children’s brains.


On this association, Pooja Shetty Deora, Board Advisory, Imagica said, “We are elated to be associated with UNICEF and to support their cause this Father’s Day. We understand the importance of quality time every child needs with their parents and that’s exactly what we promote at our parks.”


With more than 90 countries celebrating Fathers’ Day this month, the joint initiative invites families to post photos and videos of what it takes to be ‘super dads,’ using the hashtags #EarlyMomentsMatter and #BaapWaliBaat on their Instagram and Twitter accounts.



Imagica, with its strong connect and appeal among children and families will host a two-day awareness programme on June 17 and 18 at the park. The programme aims to leverage Imagica’s wide reach among its visitors with the crucial message that every father is equally responsible for the development of their child’s brain and nurturing their future.


UNICEF South Asia Ambassador Sachin Tendulkar, UNICEF India celebrity advocates Suresh Raina and Amir Khan are also supporting the campaign through online video messages.


Supporters will be encouraged to share nostalgic moments or a moment that challenges stereotypes about what dads do.
