HTC India signs SMG Insight for IPL sponsorship ROI evaluation and research

Mobile devices giant HTC has signed SMG Insight to analyse the global media and sponsor impact of their partnership with Kings XI Punjab during IPL Season 8.

As part of the deal, SMG Insight will supply HTC with continuous media and sponsorship research, allowing HTC to evaluate their partnership and provide the necessary data to inform partnership decisions. Specific services include providing HTC India with sponsorship ROI across IPL TV broadcast coverage, as well as online press and social media.

Commenting on the deal, Manu Seth, Head of Marketing for South Asia HTC said, “Our partnership with Kings XI Punjab provides great exposure for our brand, and it’s vital that we validate our commercial assets and optimise our value. We were impressed with SMG Insight’s approach, capability and experience, and are confident that we have a trusted research provider that will help us leverage the partnership and provide us with the necessary data to help us achieve our goals.’
