Hindustan Lever Ltd has proposed to set up 30 more Ayush therapy centres (ATCs) by the end of this year. The proposed new centres will be located across all the big cities in the country in order to meet the growing needs for ayurvedic products and services, according to Vipul Chawla, business manager, consumer healthcare, HLL. The company has already set up nine therapy centres together in Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Speaking to media after inaugurating the Hyderabad centre, Mr Chawla said that the company would soon open centres in Ahmedabad, Puna, Goa and Mumbai. “We want to expand in the existing cities also,” he added. ATC is a collaborative arrangement between HLL and Arya Vaidy Pharmacy, Coimbatore which provides personalised health advice and therapy. The services offered at the centre include positive health and stress relief, aches and pain relief, consultation for weight loss, skin and haircare.
