HLL bid to push Surf Excel

Hindustan Lever Ltd (HLL) has launched Surf Excel `win with stains' promotional campaign here on Tuesday that offers consumers a chance to win prices and also a scholarship.

According to a HLL press release, any consumer who purchases a large pack of Surf Excel Quickwash or Surf Excel Blue during the campaign will get a stained cloth.

On washing the cloth, the consumer will get a chance to win Rs 5-lakh scholarship or a Zenith personal computer or runs from 1 to 6. On collecting 12 runs, the consumer will be entitled to receive an Oxford Dictionary. The campaign, launched by tennis player Sania Mirza, will last up to January 15, 2005.
