Godrej Agrovet forays into ready-to-cook segment; lines up treat for chicken lovers

Godrej Agrovet Ltd has launched Godrej Yummiez, a new range of ready-to-cook chicken snacks. The company is entering the chicken snacks segment with four products – cold cuts, breaded and coated snacks, marinated snacks and ready curries. Godrej Yummiez will be available in a variety of flavours.

Speaking at the launch, Tanya Dubash, Executive Director and President-Marketing, Godrej Industries, said, “The ready-to-cook segment promises to be a potential growth area as it allows for hassle free cooking, variety of products available at affordable prices. Godrej Yummiez is a nutritious, high-protein option and is ideal for snacking between meals. All the products are natural and free of preservative.”

CK Vaidya, Managing Director, Godrej Agrovet, said, “Innovation has always been at the core of our business strategy. We were the first to launch branded processed tender fresh chicken under the Real Good Chicken brand in 1998. Godrej Yummiez is processed under the most stringent and hygienic conditions in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.”

Some of the products under Godrej Yummiez include Chicken Chilly Sausages, Chicken Chilli Salami, Chicken Pepper Sausages, Chicken Pepper Salami, Chicken Chilly Bites, Chicken Garlic Fingers and Chicken Spicy Cutlets.
