Former Myntra marketing communications head launches agency, Canvilicious, with big client wins

Canvilicious, an integrated marketing solutions agency with a focus on business goals announced its launch on Tuesday with the signing of brands cure.fit, cult.fit and Inito.

For Inito, the agency is handling research and brand positioning while at cult.fit and cure.fit, it is responsible for developing and implementing the social media and communications strategy.  

The brainchild of Ainara Kaur, former marketing communications head at Myntra, the agency is focused on providing innovative marketing strategies that are based on actionable insights and implemented at the speed of change that the clients are going through.

It includes full-scale marketing solutions such as research, brand building, creative solutions, digital marketing, social media, brand alliances and PR. Headquartered in Bangalore, the agency has offices in Mumbai and Gurgaon as well.

Speaking at the launch, Ainara Kaur, CEO, Canvilicious said, “Having worked on the corporate side of the business, I have experienced first-hand disconnect between in-house marketing and agencies. At times, agencies offer more tactical solutions, which are often creative driven with low business integration while on other side, there are many which are strategic, but have low creative appeal. Canvilicious has been set up to bridge this gap, and at the speed of change that the clients are going through while maintaining the quality. Why compromise on either?”

Prior to starting Canvilicious, Ainara Kaur was working as Head - Marketing Communications of Myntra. She was also founding member and Head Marketing of a Fortune 250 company, Ameriprise Financial (formerly American Express Financial) in India. With various awards to her credit, including the Most Influential Marketing Leader in 2015, she has been a speaker at various marketing summits organized within and outside India and guest speaker at institutes such as IIM, Bits Pilani, Xaviers etc.

During her experience of close to two decades, she has held leadership roles with organizations such as Yes Bank, MSL Publicis Group and worked with various e-commerce, BFSI, Consumer Durables, FMCG, real estate companies to contribute to their growth trajectory.
