The exchange4media Group’s Media ACE Awards initiative is an attempt to recognize Indian media agencies for their work and contribution to the Indian media industry. 

To celebrate the media industry and what it symbolises, the logo — a pair of dice cubes angled sideways, symbolises the winning spirit as well as the challenges taken by agencies to create good content that is both creative and path breaking.

The dice are a direct symbol of winning as well as the challenges media agencies face daily — risks taken to overcome challenges through the relentless pursuit of excellence and creative ingenuity.

The logo has been designed by Bang in the Middle. Naresh Gupta, Managing Partner, Bang In The Middle felt working for ACE would be a challenge. A challenge he was looking forward to. “Our brief was to build the stature for ACE Awards and make them a considered award for media industry. We created the campaign with a different take on terms used everyday. It has been absolutely fun to work on this campaign.”

The trophy of the Media Ace Awards replicates the logo with a pair of dice cubes angled sideways.

The Media ACE Awards is a salute to all those mavericks, trendsetters and game changers who with their vision and persistence have taken the industry to new heights; whose innovation has not just changed the map of the media fraternity, but that of the country. It is a reminder that media agencies are what they are because of their talented people, and that it has the power to reform and shape ideas that can make or break establishments.

True to its name, the Media ACE Awards is also an award that celebrates the power of the people and the media agency’s ability to bring it to the forefront. Above all, it is an affirmation of the power of democracy, the rights and responsibilities it bestows on us and the media agencies place in this ardent republic.

The Media ACE Awards will be held on July 3 in Mumbai and will have Dr Mukund Rajan, Brand Custodian and Member, Group Executive Council, Tata Sons Ltd. as keynote speaker.

Geetu Verma, Executive Director- Food & Refreshments, Hindustan Unilever Limited, is the Jury Chair for the Awards this year. The Media Ace awards are slated to take place in the first week of July. The jury meet is on June 19th in Mumbai.
