EEMAX 2013: Encompass leads with 6 metals, Candid Mktg bags 5 metals

The EEMAX 2013 awards were given away at a ceremony held in Jaiput on September 7. The awards recognize outstanding work done in the events and entertainment industry. A total of 16 Gold, 12 Silver and 15 Bronze metals were given out at EEMAX awards this year.

Leading the EEMAX awards this year (in terms of number of events) was Roshan Abbas’s Encompass Events with a total of six metals consisting of one Gold, two Silver and three Bronze metals.

Candid Marketing was a close second with five metals, which included two Gold, two Bronze and one Silver metal.

Mudra Max walked away with two Gold, one Silver and one Bronze metal.

Krayon and Wizcraft International Entertainment were also among the winners this year, bagging three metals each.

All the entries went through an extensive screening test that involved several rounds. The entries were judged by a jury panel chaired by Prasoon Joshi, Executive Chairman & CEO - India & President – South Asia, McCann Worldgroup. The jury panel comprised industry pundits such as Raj Nayak, CEO, Colors - Viacom 18; Ravi Bharadwaj, Executive Director – Marketing, Dell India; Tushar Vyas, Managing Partner – South Asia, GroupM; Nikhil Rungta, Chief Business Officer, Yebhi; and Abraham Alapatt, Head - Marketing, Thomas Cook, among others.

There were a total of 26 categories, out of which three were open for online voting. EEMAX 2013 was part of the sixth annual convention organised by the Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) in Jaipur from September 5-7, 2013.
