Ybrant Digital, a Hyderabad-based company offering comprehensive end-to-end digital marketing services worldwide, now unveiled plans to foray into affiliate marketing and co-registration in the coming two years. The company also plans to introduce mobile marketing initiatives in India and China over the next two years.
Ybrant Digital works closely with publishers, selling their advertising space with the help of latest technologies and a global sales force, allowing them to monetise their entire inventory worldwide. The company is currently into five including search marketing, banner-based marketing, and email marketing.
Suresh Reddy, Co-Founder and Chairman, Ybrant Digital, said, “Right now we want to increase our presence in search and we want to get into affiliate marketing and co-registration in two years’ time. Affiliate marketing is when people go to websites with focused content such as cooking websites. Co-registration is when you are registering for some service, and then you can register for co-marketing products.”
According to Reddy, "Digital marketing is a $40 million industry in India as compared to a $100 billion industry in the US." Hence, the potential was great.
He further said, “In India, there are smaller ad networks so there are no competitors as such. But in the US, we have competitors like Value Click. We want to expand our reach in Europe, South America, India, and China in the next two years.”
“In 2009, we will be looking at acquisitions. At present, 2 per cent of our revenue comes from the Indian network. We have clients like ICICI Bank, SimplyMarry.com, Shaadi.com and Naukri.com. We have 2,000 advertisers across the world like Lufthansa, Ford Motor, Puma, ING, Nike, etc.,” Reddy added.
Meanwhile, reacting to a recent report in a section of the media that Ybrant Digital was planning to buy a US online ad firm, Reddy affirmed, “There is no truth in this report. Nothing has been finalised yet.”
