Coca-Cola has a strong legacy of supporting Olympic sports and needs no special introduction. Today is an important day for all of us as we are just 200 days away from the Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi. We are confident about delivering Games that India will be proud of. Coca-Cola India’s coming on board with the Games is thus a logical move and the tie-up will benefit all stakeholders.”

The Coca-Cola Company has been associated with the Olympic Games since 1928. In 2008, Coca-Cola India was the official beverage partner to the Youth Commonwealth Games in Pune.

The 19th Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi will be held from October 3-14 and would witness the participation from 71 Commonwealth Games Associations. 8,000 athletes and officials are expected to participate in 17 sports disciplines.
