Cavinkare appoints Anupam Dutta as Vice President Marketing

Cavinkare has appointed Anupam Dutta as Vice President Marketing. K S Ramesh, Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer, Cavinkare, confirmed Anupam Dutta’s appointment to exchange4media. He further stated that in the course of next month a Vice President Sales would also be appointed. Anupam Dutta joined Cavinkare recently and brings with him marketing & sales expertise. Before joining Cavinkare he was earlier with United Distillers & Vintners (UDV) as Director Marketing. Prior to that Dutta had a 10-year stint from 1991 in Cadbury’s, He joined as management trainee and when he left the company he was the Regional Manager-West.

Talking of his role in the company, Anupam Dutta, Vice President Marketing, Cavinkare, said, “ My responsibility would involve making sure that in a market and brand sense Cavinkare continues to play a significant role in the country. I would also partner the organization to continue to innovate & excel in all ventures”

Nandakumar who was earlier the President of Marketing & Sales, Cavinkare is now with LG Care as the COO.

Cavinkare is a Rs 264 crore company and an important player in the FMCG sector. It has various product variants in the categories of Hair care, Personal care and Skin care. Chik, Fairever and Nyle are some of the major brands under Cavinkare’s wing. The company also recently forayed into the foods segment by taking over Ruchi pickles for Rs 15 crore.
