Bharti, RPG comes out with new schemes to woo customers

Bharti Mobinet Ltd and RPG Cellular Services have come out with new schemes aimed at increasing cell phone usage.

According to sources, RPG has introduced a facility — Cell Speak — with which subscribers can make calls to any cellphone in the country for 50 paise a minute. The facility can be chosen on any of the tariff plans.

It is available to all existing and new post-paid subscribers for a monthly fee of Rs 50. With the reduction in STD tariffs and the Cell Speak facility, using a cell phone to make STD calls has become cheaper.

South STD, a service from RPG Cellular subscribers, enables subscribers to make STD calls to the four southern States at no additional deposit.

Bharti on the other hand has launched Value Max Plan, under which customers can avail free airtime on all outgoing and incoming calls for a flat monthly charge of Rs 1,950. Flexi Life Plan, at a monthly rental of Rs 295, helps customers to save when he talk more, save when you talk less.
