Beardsell Ltd appoints Abhaya Shankar as President - Business Acceleration and Strategy
Abhaya Shankar, the erstwhile Managing Director of HIL Limited (formerly Hyderabad Industries Ltd, a Birla Group Company) has joined Beardsell Limited, as President – Business Acceleration and Strategy.
Shankar is a Senior Management professional with over 30 years of comprehensive achievements across functions, having held senior level positions across various large Indian Corporate Groups. He is a B.Tech from I.I.T. Kanpur and has completed his Management at I.I.M Calcutta.
He possesses rich experience in both managing operations as well as taking forward corporate initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, disinvestments etc. Further, having built companies from scratch and advised start-ups growing them into successful businesses, he brings to the table an understanding of creating future value business models.
