Amul appoints KM Jhala as Chief Operating Officer

Kishore Jhala has been promoted as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd., (Amul). He was earlier the Chief General Manager at GCMMF. Jhala had joined GCMMF in the year 1986 as a product manager and has assumed various responsibilities in sales and marketing in the organization over the last 30 years.

Announcing his elevation, R S Sodhi, Managing Director of GCMMF, said, “Mr Jhala has rich 3 decades of experience in the organization. GCMMF has plans for doubling its current turnover of Rs 25000 crores by 2020 and his new role in the organization will help in contributing to the achievement of the same.”
