9X Media looks to foray into the live events space for the production of its first show with famous Bollywood singer Arijit Singh in an event titled 9XM Dome Musically Yours Arijit Singh Live with Symphony Orchestra. After the network’s success with ‘Tashan Nites’ organised by 9X Tashan and ‘Jhakaas Music Yatra’ with 9X Jhakaas, it looks foray in live events which are ticket based in order to generate alternate source of revenues.
The event with the Symphony Orchestra was held on 5th July 2015 at 7 pm at the Dome at NSCI SVP Stadium, Mumbai. The entire event is conceptualized and executed by Ranaji events. The show which has tickets priced at Rs.3,000, Rs.6,000 and Rs.10,000 on sold through BookMyShow is said to be already a be success for the network as it was sold out most of the tickets within the span of three weeks said Kapil Sharma, Marketing Head, 9X Media.
The company is expected to earn Rs.1.8 crore in ticketing revenue itself. Added to this they have managed to get sponsors such as Spaces Home & Beyond from Welspun as title sponsor and powered by sponsors Carewale and Hungama, while XXX Energy Drink is the beverage partner. Hindustan Times Cafe is the print partner, Red FM as radio partner and Bright Outdoor Media as outdoor partner.
Sharma said, “We are delighted to team up with Arijit Singh, India’s singing heart throb and launch 9XM’s Live Event offering. Through this platform, we intend to provide music lovers a memorable experience and an opportunity to connect with their favourite music star and vice-versa.”
The concert was promoted through a 360-degree campaign across print, radio and digital platforms.
