‘Trophy’ out to spread the fragrance of Cricket World Cup 2007

Whether or not the Men in Blue smell success at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007, the ‘Trophy’ is out to ensure the fragrance of cricket fever is clear and strong. Fragrance World India in a bid to cash in on the craze for cricket has launched ‘Trophy’ as the perfume for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007.

The company has also appointed Kapil Dev as the brand ambassador for the perfume, which will also be promoted by the ICC.

Speaking at the launch, Nazim Sattar Padvekar, GM, Fragrance World FZE, said, “Trophy is a souvenir for cricket with a theme behind it. The ICC has made this a licensed product for the Cricket World Cup 2007 and will be promoting the same. They have assured to make this a grand success.”

James Ashworth, Global Licensing Advisor, ICC CWC West Indies 2007, said, “Although the connection between perfume and cricket is an unusual one, we believe that Trophy will inspire all fans to keep up the faith, team-spirit, strength of mind, fortitude and a spirit of sportsmanship.”

Trophy will be available in four fragrances for men and women. Actress Nisha Kothari will be endorsing the women’s range.
