Pogo offers sneak preview of ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’

With the much-awaited release of the fifth part of the Harry Potter film series, ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’, children’s channel Pogo will offer a sneak peek of the movie. The channel has been given the rights for special interviews with members of the cast, movie footages, and the London red carpet special. The special episode will be showcased in two parts on July 7 and July 14 at 7 pm.

Rob, the host of M.A.D. (Music, Art and Dance), will catch up with the three stars of the movie -- Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint -- on-air from London. Rob will quiz the three stars about their experiences of doing the film. Additionally, the young stars will also be asked special questions put forth by children across India, as part of a special contest organised by the channel.

Monica Tata, Vice President-Advertising Sales and Networks, India and South Asia, Turner International India Pvt. Ltd, said, “It makes us proud that Pogo is the kids’ channel who has access to this exclusive footage. With the Harry Potter film series enjoying an iconic status amongst kids globally, we are happy that Indian kids and families will be able to experience this magic on Pogo.”

The channel plans to conduct a contest during the two episodes on its sneak peak of the movie release. Children have to send in the answers to questions asked during the telecast of the two special episodes on July 7 and 14 respectively. To participate in this contest, viewers have to send text SMS ‘HP’, followed by the options provided, to 8558.

The wining child will be given a complete star treatment, starting with a makeover by a Bollywood stylist, a stay at a five star hotel, arriving at the grand premiere of the film in Mumbai in a luxurious car, and also watch the premiere with Pogo’s host, Rob. Besides the grand prize, 800 other children can win tickets of ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’, and 50 additional have a chance to get branded ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’ merchandise.
