Pogo Funtakshari celebrates grand finale in style

Delhi turned into a musical battlefield for the grand finale of Pogo Funtakshari 2007 championship on September 14. In sync with Pogo’s mission statement of encouraging, engaging and educating kids, Pogo Funtakshari recognises children’s passion for music and singing and offers them a platform to showcase their singing talent. Hundred Delhi schools had competed against each other in Pogo Funtakshari 2007, making this the biggest ever inter-school ‘Antakshari’ competition in India.

Vinny Rana and Anjali Kaushal of Summer Fields School emerged as the winners from among the senior teams, while Mishika Mehrotra and Sunandita Pandit of Venkateshwara International School were the champions among the junior teams. The winners of Pogo Funtakshari 2007 win the dream opportunity of featuring on-air on Pogo and becoming an RJ on Radio One for a day.

We received tremendous response to Pogo Funtakshari from Delhi, both during the on-air auditions and the preliminary rounds.”
