Disney Channel to offer a 3D experience with Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus

Disney Channel is presenting a 3D experience for the first time on Indian television with the premiere of ‘Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of both worlds’ concert movie in 3D on September 28 at 10 am. The movie gets up close and personal with the hugely popular teen star Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana.

Speaking on the initiative, Antoine Villeneuve, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Walt Disney Television International (India), said, “Television plays an important role in our strategy to drive our brands, franchises and content across the region and will continue to be the major growth engine in building franchise affinity in India. ‘Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds’ concert in 3D is Disney Channel’s unique offering this year for fans across the country.”

He further said, “Hannah Montana has emerged as one of the most relatable, likable and inspirational young female superstars of a new generation of tweens.”

Shot during her 69-city tour, the film brings a whole new dimension to the pop idol, as the 3D experience captures Miley Cyrus up close. ‘Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds’ concert showcases real concert footage; the film includes a ‘backstage pass’ peek at Miley’s life on tour. The movie also features special guests Jonas Brothers – Nick, Kevin and Joe.
