It’s Christmas time, the half-yearly exams are over, and kids are looking forward to their winter break. What better time than now to celebrate the spirit of Yuletide with one’s favourite cartoon characters. Kids’ channels POGO and Cartoon Network have a fun-filled mix of shows and movies to keep kids engaged.

Cartoon Network will feature a week-long programme on the ever popular pair of Tom & Jerry titled ‘A Very Jerry X’Mas’. This will include films featuring Tom & Jerry such as ‘Blast off to Mars’ on December 23, ‘Tom & Jerry - The Movie’ on December 28, and ‘The Fast and Furry’ on December 30, all between 12 noon and 1 pm.

POGO will have the national premiere of the animated TV special, ‘Shrek, The Halls’, at 1:00 pm on December 25, along with special episodes of ‘Noddy Saves Christmas’ on December 25 at 10 am, ‘Baby Looney Tunes - Christmas In July’, ‘Foster's Imaginary Friends’ and ‘Merry Christmas, Mr Bean’.

Monica Tata, Vice President-Advertising Sales and Networks, India and South Asia, Turner International India, said, “Understanding viewer needs and providing excellent quality content has always been a staple of Cartoon Network and POGO.
