Pogo has announced the fourth edition of its original production ‘Pogo Amazing Kids Awards 2007’. The awards consist of multiple categories within two main sections – ‘Pogo Kids Awards’ that rewards kids who accomplish extraordinary talent, and ‘Pogo Voice Awards’ that empowers kids with the right of choosing their favourite icons. ‘Pogo Amazing Kids Awards 2007’ will be aired on December 29 at 6 pm.
This year, 24 talented kids from across the country will battle it out for the coveted title of the ‘Pogo Amazing Kid’, across eight diverse categories including arts, sports, music, singing, dance, genius, leadership and entertainment.

The Awards has the distinction of being the country’s only televised kids’ awards, and also a unique platform that turns the spotlight on the best talent among kids across the country. Derek O’Brien & Associates Pvt. Ltd has managed the entire search and selection process of the final 24 nominees across these categories. The winners of the ‘Pogo Kids Awards’ will be felicitated at a gala in-studio hosted event in Mumbai that will be interspersed with other performances. The winners will be awarded with a child benefit policy worth Rs 5 lakh each, a chance to feature on Pogo, as well as other gifts.
The ‘Pogo Voice Awards’ empower children with the right to vote for their favourite celebrity icons. This year’s nominees include former President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam, actors Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Bachchan; sportspersons Sania Mirza, Vishwanathan Anand, Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The nominees in the ‘Most Amazing Kids Programme’ category are ‘M.A.D.’ (Music, Art and Dance), ‘Mr Bean’, ‘Galli Galli Sim Sim’, ‘Tom and Jerry’ and ‘Dragon Ball-Z’.
