SUMMARY OF THE POSITION Timely collection of dues from Agencies / clients and upto date records pertaining to agencies / clients.

ORGANIZATION CHART
Key Responsibility Area’s • Preparation of one line statement for compiling billing   figures   due for the month
• Scrutiny of deduction statements received from agencies.
  Regular reconciliation/Maintenance of Agency/Client   Accounts.  (Monthly as well as Yearly)
• Payment confirmation with Agency/Clients for due months   billing.
• Follow-up for pending sanctions and co-ordination with   agencies for rate related queries – post publication of ads.
• Accounting for deductions by passing credit notes/debit   notes   after due scrutiny and computation of rate benefit   (Old   rate/New rate) as specified under the Annual deal &   Plough   Back etc
• Receipting of payments & adjustments against due bills in   the   system (Each Bill wise & Item wise).
• Informing over dues status to Agency/Client on Monthly   basis.
  Vigorous follow-up on overdues.
• Debtors Ageing Report - Maintain a clean and precise aged   debt report.
• Decision of imposition of embargo for non payment of dues.
  Dispute scrutiny, follow-up action & taking it to its logical   conclusion.
• Regular Agency Visits
• Ensuring that all queries/complaints are promptly resolved   including general requests/requirements viz.Revised manual   bills,Extra VTS Copies, Ad conf report etc.,E-bill register.
• Opening/Updation/Maintenance of Agency/Client ‘s details   in   system.

SPECIAL INITIATIVES • Space selling – trying to bring out features , sell specific   columns etc.
•Implementation of Agency Incentive schemes for small size   agencies.
•Inputs for preparing Response Operation Manual.
•Collection of Indiatimes Overdues by leveraging the strength of   BCCL.
Competencies The person should have an eye for detail and ability to correlate. Also the individual should be good with number crunching.

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION To carry out accurate and timely Bookings, Confirmations and Upselling of advertisements to advertisers by interfacing with advertising agencies and clients.

4. Manage customer centric operations and ensure customer   satisfaction by achieving delivery & service norms.
5. Manage personal performance card and provide monthly   reports on sales activities

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION The position is expected to maximize profit margins and exhibit knowledge/understanding to overcome competition to increase the market share.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • To check Release Orders for correct date, rate, publication   and special positioning comments to ensure error free and   timely booking.
• To confirm space to the advertising agencies as per the   clients’ requirement by booking the same accurately as per   the instructions mentioned on the release order.
• To ensure no loss of revenue by adhering to the   guaranteed premium positions placements.
• Booking ads adhering to the timelines to ensure that all the   publications across are published as per schedule.
• Monitoring of front pages in all the main publications to   ensure 100% occupancy of the same.
• Conversions to maximize revenues. (Upgradation of ordinary   advertisements to premium positions. Upselling packages to   existing bookings considering the clients presence in   different markets. Floating features on special occasions to   meet the individual conversion targets. Support marketing   team in special features floated to generate ad-hoc   revenue).
• Attending to all the correspondence pertaining to material   updation/ cancellations /reschedule of advertisements to   minimize errors.

Competencies The individual should have the ability to multitask, handle stress, must be patient and consistent and have the willingness to learn.
The candidate should be good with telemarketing and persuasive skills. Also should be highly sociable.
