Group Account Director - Business Development

Job Responsibility
  • A focused, result oriented and well connected individual capable of converting meaningful leads to lasting business revenues. Should also have through knowledge of event industry functions and presentation skills. Exploring new business opportunities, identifying markets & contributing strategically to the growth and direction of the organization
    Overall responsibility for the development of marketing strategies with the client.
  • Leading various back end teams as a one-stop bridge between client and the internal service teams with good managerial skills to rocket the team of Account Managers to success.
  • Exposure to all facets of sales & marketing function - Account Management, Direct Marketing, Event Management,
    Research and Communication.
  • Understanding industry trends, patterns and practices - ability to translate them into features and functionality to fulfill customer needs/requirements.
  • Understanding of brand principles and experience of applying the same to various communication means and methods.
Qualifications MBA or equivalent qualification
Experience 8-10 years with min 2 yrs in similar position
Other/Special Requirements Should be a highly achievement oriented and committed person who can target, create and develop new business relationships.

  • Responsible for process definition and leading various back end teams as a one-stop bridge between client and the internal service teams with good managerial skills to rocket the team of Account Managers to success.
  • Exposure to all facets of sales & marketing function - Account Management, Direct Marketing, Event Management,
    Research and Communication.
  • Understanding industry trends, patterns and practices - ability to translate them into features and functionality to fulfill customer needs/requirements
  • To act as the “single point of contact” to liaise with business units around the region as required.
  • Team Building, Management and Leadership - direct responsibility for customer service and retention
  • Understanding of brand principles and experience of applying same to various communication means and methods
