| Job
Purpose |
To
assist the Director Marketing
& Fundraising to build financial
sustainability of SC BR and
to develop and implement the
marketing strategy to substantially
raise funds from individuals
within India and abroad. |
| Main
responsibilities |
-
Assist the Director Marketing
& Fundraising to develop
and implement SC BR’s
individual donor marketing
strategy, a marketing plan
which will include clear
returns and channels, ensuring
that long-term growth targets
are met.
-
To liaise with key supporters
of SC BR, such as major
individual donors, to build
strong relationships and
maximize support.
-
Develop fundraising communication
materials for various media:
electronic and print, making
proposals, presentations
to potential donors as needed.
-
Identify fundraising service
agencies in India and initiate
pilot marketing activities
with them and, where successful,
implement a scale up strategy.
Writing contracts, producing
materials and conducting
training to support them
in delivering to SC BR’s
targets.

Assessing the individual
donor market in India to
project trends and opportunities.
-
Manage fundraising / marketing
events and campaigns through
to implementation of customer
/ donor care operations
and data management.
-
To manage the marketing
budget and ensure that controls
are in place to monitor
and report on income and
expenditure, track donor/market
trends and report to funders.
Establish systems and processes
which optimize efficiency
in donation processing and
monitoring of income over
expenditure.

To promote SC BR’s
work – communicating,
both internally and externally,
in an accurate, sensitive
and motivating fashion.
This would include contributing
to development of the website
as a primary communication
tool.

To ensure that all marketing
activities comply with applicable
law at all times, including
compliance with data protection
legislation
-
Ensure compliance with SC
BR’s policies and
practices, including the
Child Protection Policy

| Educational
Qualifications |
Post
graduate degree in Marketing/Sales
Management from a recognized
institute. |
| Experience |
5-6
years of relevant experience
in a competitive market environment
based on identified job requirements. |
