Senior Manager/Manager – Business Development
Location Gurgaon/Mumbai
Description
We are not looking for people in search of a conventional, predictable job with the typical ladder to climb. We want candidates who are unafraid to voice their opinions, challenge constructively, and able to inspire stakeholders. We are looking for people who not just think big, but execute as well. Successful candidates will have 3-8 years of professional advertising sales/business development/client services experience and a record of achieving results by working independently or in a team.

Given the nascent stage of the mobile marketing industry in India, the Business Development/Advertising Sales team at Affle works towards evangelizing this new and exciting medium, to enable the creation of long term strategic partnerships and also meet the short term revenue targets.

Business Development Responsibilities
  • Build Strategic Media Agency, Advertiser & Content Partnerships.
  • Independently manage key advertiser & agency accounts to get business and manage the client servicing thereafter, with associated revenue targets.
  • Relationship management with allocated new and existing business partners.
  • Work with the in-house creative team to deliver customized Mobile Media solutions.
  • Actively enable new revenue opportunities
  • Provide commercial feedback to Affle's product development teams
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree;
  • Post-graduate or professional degree in Management/ Communications preferred
  • 3-8 years professional advertising sales / advertising / media experience
    Candidates with relevant prior experience in selling/managing/planning for digital media (internet/mobile) would be preferred
  • Excellent contacts network in media & advertising industry circles
  • Understanding of the advertiser’s business and capability to creatively suggest customized solutions
  • Capable of working calmly and quickly in high-stress environments
