Information and Terms for the India PR & Corporate Communications Awards 2012

The exchange4media India PR & Corporate Communications Awards 2012 (e4m IPRCCA 2012) recognise excellence by organisations and individuals for their work in India's growing public relations and communications sector

The Submission of the Entry Form assumes that entrants have carefully read the e4m IPRCCA 2012 terms and information and agree to abide by them.

The following is the procedure for submitting forms:

Register Online which will pop up a unique registration number. In case the option is not available or you don't receive an acknowledgement mail after registration there is an error in the backend. Please contact us.

PDF Forms available online need to be duly filled and submitted physically at the e4m office along with the supporting material for the campaign/s. Please be careful while filling in the form as incorrect and incomplete forms will work against the entry at the time of judging. The forms must be entered in English.

All materials submitted must carry only the unique registration number and no superimposed logo of the agency/organization etc should be evident on the material. This is to maintain anonymity while judging.

Note: we will only accept CDs/ DVDs of electronic coverage. All supporting material with the duly filled form must be sent via courier to the postal address.

The entry will be deemed accepted only when the entry fee as detailed in #6 below reaches our Delhi office.

Word limit:- 1000 words in a PDF format

The supporting material, could include creatives, collaterals, samples of press exposure, pictures of the event,etc.

Every entry which includes a campaign from a Client, needs to be accompanied with a letter of proclamation from the client, stating that the entry is the agency's original body of work, done for the client.

To be eligible, work of the entrant must have aired between January 1, 2011 and January 31, 2012.


EXCELLENCE CATEGORIES

CORPORATE COMMUNICATION PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR 2012

• Open to individuals who may nominate themselves or be nominated.

• The judges will look for a Corporate Communication Professional, who has demonstrated outstanding communication to reach stakeholder audiences.

• The candidate must have made significant contributions to his/her company, which have a positive influence and benefit to the stature and progress of the company and industry on the whole.

• The candidate must be known for his/her character and admired for the body of his work in the industry.

• Significant achievements in the period covered by this year's awards, as well as career achievements to date will count favorably in the judging.

YOUNG ACHIEVERS AWARD IPRCCA 2012

• Open to Communication professionals in agencies and corporate houses who are under the age of 30 on Dec 31st 2011

• The candidate must have worked in the industry for minimum 5 years and demonstrated leadership skills amongst his/her peers.

• The candidate must have the stature and potential of a future leader, demonstrating exceptional talent.

• He/ she should be committed to the industry and have made significant contributions to the industry.

• The nomination must be accompanied by an endorsement from the current employer, stating his/her nomination valid.

• Nominating letters should address the nominee's qualifications for this award and contributions to the Communications Industry.

• Nominating letter could also include supporting letters from members of the industry who qualify the importance of the nominees' contribution

PR PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR

• The individual who, represented the best work in Public Relations and set an example of the management function that establishes mutually beneficial relationships between the agency and the client.

• The candidate must have made significant contributions to his/her company, which have a positive influence and benefit to the stature and progress of the company and industry on the whole

• The candidate must be known for his character and admired for the body of his work in the industry

• The judges will look for evidence of outstanding achievement in handling PR campaigns, showing creativity, relevance to brief and results. They will also look for evidence of the nominees' ability and willingness to extend their range of PR skills.

HALL OF FAME LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

• Nominees must have made significant contributions to the chapter in a leadership position

• Nominees must have demonstrated exceptional professional capability during their career

• Nominees must have contributed to the advancement of the profession through their work

• Nominees must exhibit personal and professional qualities that make them role models for other PR practitioners

• Nominee must be a legend in the Communications industry in terms of the body of work produced and contribution to the industry

Entry Fees:

There is no limit to the number of entries a public relations agency, organisation, or individual can send us but an all-inclusive, non-refundable entry fee should be accompanied with the entry form and a cheque/demand draft (payable at par in New Delhi or Mumbai) of Rs 5,000 (Rupees five Thousand Only) drawn in favour of 'Adsert Web Solutions Private Ltd'. There is also the option of payment through a wire transfer.

There is an incentive for sending multiple entries: 4 entries: Rs 18,000; 8 entries: Rs 34,000; 15 entries: Rs 50,000.

Non-Delhi or Non-Mumbai, non-payable at par cheques will NOT be accepted. Non-Delhi/Mumbai entrants can pay by way of a Demand Draft/Pay Order. The entry fees cannot be submitted in cash.

Entry will be accepted only on realisation of cheque(s).

The IPRCCA jury will comprise eminent individuals from all walks of life. The decision of the jury is final and binding. Any form of canvassing for the awards will disqualify an entrant.

All entries must be received in our offices in New Delhi before 4pm on Saturday, March 10, 2012. Note: entries will be considered accepted only upon realisation of the cheque/ draft with the entry fee. The last date of March 10th indicates that the payment must reach our accounts by this date. The forms can be submitted any day – between Monday and Friday, 11am to 5pm. Cheques/DDs can also be sent by courier to our New Delhi office.

The Hall of Fame Award will be decided upon by the jury. No entries are invited for this category.

For Young Achievers' Award, a photocopy of proof of date of birth must be attached to the printout of the entry form. The proof can be in the form of driving licence, passport, Election ID card, PAN Card or Class 10 passing certificate clearly displaying the date of birth. In the absence of all of the above certificates, a certification from the employer on the letterhead is fine.

All entries submitted will become a property of the exchange4media group. Submission of entry also authorises the exchange4media group to use images and/or audio/video clips of up to 2 minutes from a single entry for use on broadcast television (free-to-air, pay, cable, satellite, DTH, FTA, mobile, out-of-home, internet or any other digital medium for the purpose of promoting or reporting the awards) with due credits.

We presume that all entries sent to us are based on original work. The submission of entry guarantees that the entry is original. If any entry is found to plagiarized, the entry will be disqualified.

The exchange4media group is a mere custodian of the e4m India PR & Corporate Communications Awards. At no stage of the jury meetings will anyone from the exchange4media group team be part of the decision-making and/or influencing process.
