Zee Telefilms scouting for global strategic partner

Zee Telefilms is scouting for a strategic partner to enter the foreign market. The dilution in Zee Telefilms will depend on the partner the company manages to rope in. The company hopes to tie up with a partner within four months.

Zee Telefilms will appoint an investment banker for this purpose within 10 days. The framework of the management structure, including valuation and other related issues, will be discussed in consultation with the chosen bankers and potential partners.

With Zee TV becoming a pay channel in June, the subscription revenue will go up from Rs 36 crore to Rs 100 crore in 2001-2002.
