Zee restructures its tariff

Zee Telefilms has undertaken a comprehensive restructuring of its tariff structure after taking a beating from rival Star on the advertisement revenue front in the last few months. As per its new rate card, Zee will offer approximately 35 per cent discount for the prime time slot of 7 pm to 11 pm.

The media conglomerate has decided to slash its advertising rates of all of its fourteen channels to pull in advertisers. And as a shift from the traditional method for local media companies, Zee will not be offering its channels separately from now on.

As per its new rate card, Zee will offer approximately 35 per cent discount for the prime time slot of 7 pm to 11 pm. For instance, an advertiser can now buy a 10 second ad slot in the prime band for all 14 channels at Rs 1.11 lakh as compared with the earlier rate of Rs 1.71 lakh, according to its “Zee Kohinoor” scheme.
