Zee plans to launch a channel in line with National Geographic

The Zee Network will have a new channel called `Zee Organic' by early next year. Modelled on the `National Geographic' channel, `Zee Organic' will focus on nature, culture, lifestyle, art, health and therapy, according to sources. The channel is likely to be launched sometime early next year, perhaps around March 2001. To begin with `Zee Organic' will be a four to six-hour channel. The target audience is global, according to Zee.
