Vikram Sakuja to head STAR marketing

Star Television is in the process of sprucing up its marketing set-up in the country. To start with, News Television India, which runs STAR TV in India, will have a new marketing head. Vikram Sakuja of Coca-Cola India is set to head the marketing of STAR's channels, along with News Television's radio and dotcom initiative, Star TV CEO James Murdoch is scheduled to be in the capital early next week and is slated to meet senior government officials. Issues related to direct-to-home services are expected to be a major point of discussion.


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
