Ultra group scouting abroad for rights of gameshows

After the success of KBC, the Mumbai-based entertainment company, Ultra group, is scouting abroad for rights of gameshows. The company is also planning to diversify into television software production soon. It is in talk with a number of foreign channels, but is yet to take a final decision.

The group has already shortlisted scripts and will commence shooting soon. Ultra is targeting both the regional language and Hindi channels. The company is targeting a turnover of Rs 30 crore by the end of the next financial year.

As part of its other expansion plans, the company will also set up post-production facilities for its television foray.
