TV18 PAT down to Rs 1.99 crore

Television Eighteen Ltd’s profit after tax (excluding extraordinary income and charges) has been put at Rs 1.99 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2001, down from Rs 4.83 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The operating income too has come down to Rs 2.16 crore from Rs 4.6 crore during the previous corresponding period.

Subsequently, the operating margin for the quarter under review too has dipped to 24.1 per cent from 45.9 per cent.
