TV Today to launch Aaj Tak channel on December 30

TV Today will launch its new channel Aaj Tak on December 30. The company had claimed that its focus would be extending the arrangement with DD. In fact, apart from asking for a renewal of the contract on DD Metro for the daily Hindi news bulletin, the company has also written several letters to Prasar Bharati for more slots on other Doordarshan channels.
