TV Today drops plan for strategic partner

India Today group has dropped plans to rope in a strategic partner for its television venture TV Today Network and will, instead, offload 10 per cent equity in favour of financial institution. The group has already divested 10 per cent stake in favour of ICICI and is holding negotiations with as many as 10 financial institutions for divesting the remaining 10 per cent.
