Synergy Communications plans to produce big-prize quiz show

Synergy Communications promoted by quizmaster Siddhartha Basu will produce a big-prize quiz show. The prize money would be larger than what is being offered on Kaun Banega Crorepati. The company also plans to produce a karaoke show and a drama series, besides an Indo-British quiz show.

Synergy Communications has been providing the content for KBC since the show went on air last July. While the company is very closely held, Mr. Basu said he was open to new investments.

On the plans for KBC, Mr. Basu said Synergy Communications would continue to provide content for the game show. Mr. Basu however clarified that anything, which might replace KBC, will have to have Amitabh Bachchan. Synergy’s other project on hand is the quiz show Mastermind aired on BBC.

Synergy Communications also has a Website - funtoo.com. The company is keen to launch an interactive Website to be called iquiz.com.
