Sushma rejects proposal to form media commission

The Information and Broadcasting minister, Ms. Sushma Swaraj, rejected a proposal to form a Media Commission to look into issues relevant to the media such as allowing FDI in the print media. Replying to a proposal by veteran journalist Mr. Kuldip Nayar during the question hour in the Rajya Sabha, she said there was no need for such a commission.
