Star continues to dominates TRP rankings

According to the latest INTAM ratings, Star continued to dominate the top television rankings. Zee, which launched new programmes, failed to click. Zee’s new programmes made nine appearances in the top 100, but the much hyped Aap Jo Bolein Haan to Haan, Aap Jo Bolein Naa to Naa did not figure anywhere in the list.

From the entire range of new programmes launched by Zee TV as part of its “restaging”, the first one to make an entry in the top 100 rankings is Razzmatazz at No 75.

On the other hand, the new programmes on Star Plus (introduced before Zee’s programmes) fared much better with Khulja Sim Sim at No9.

Zee’s new programmes made nine appearances in the top 100, but the much hyped Aap Jo Bolein Haan to Haan, Aap Jo Bolein Naa to Naa did not figure anywhere in the list.

The TAM ratings last week had also thrown up similar results, prompting Zee to state that the entire TV ratings process was rigged.

According to INTAM ratings, all the top 20 programmes belong to Star Plus which include sops like Kyonki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Kangan. ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, the game show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan figures twice in the top 20 list at 13th and 14th ranks

Among the Sony programmes, ‘KKusum’ (34th and 38) ‘CID’ (42nd) and ‘Heena’ (48th) figure in the top 50 rankings.
