Sri Adhikari Q1 net dips to Rs 3.79cr

Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network has posted a lower net profit by 17.56 per cent at Rs 3.79 crores for the first quarter ended June 30, 2001, compared to Rs 4.60 crores in the corresponding period last year.

Total income for Q1 stood at Rs 21.68 crores against Rs 20.81 crores in the quarter ended June 30, 2001, SAB informed the Bombay Stock Exchange here on Tuesday.

Extraordinary items were at Rs 69.7 lakhs relating to liquidation of investments made by it in various bonds and g-sec schemes of mutual funds for which the company has received dividends.

The net profit after consideration of extraordinary items comes to Rs 3.1 crores in JQ 2001 as against Rs 4.6 crores in JQ 2000.
