Sachin to charge Rs 100 crore from WorldTel for five year contract

Sachin Tendulkar has sought Rs 100 crore from his marketing agency WorldTel for another five-year contract. He was earlier contracted by WorldTel in 1995 for Rs 45 crore. With his contract due for renewal on December 31, Sachin has asked for Rs 100 crore from WorldTel chief Mr. Mark Mascarenhas.

Sachin has proved himself highly saleable, and has given WorldTel a very high turnover and profit. Industry sources said, it is the ideal time for him to make money by tapping brands like Pepsi, MRF, VISA Card and Phillips.
